Badlands

This is sprint racing gone BAD!

It has been 50 years since the nuclear disaster. The sport of sprint racing is now a ruthless battle between armed cars. These races take place on tracks built in the ruins of the dangerous nuclear zone known only as the BADLANDS.

Bad Lands re-uses some of the sounds from "Championship Sprint" and "Super Sprint", particularly notable when bonus wrenches are collected.

Description

A post nuclear war, top-down auto racing game with guns. There are four laps per race and eight different tracks. Badlands pits three cars against each other in a three lap race around a small, single-screen circuit. Bonuses are present in the form of wrenches which can be traded for goods such as extra speed, extra acceleration or better tires

How to Play

Finish first! Upgrade your cars by collecting the wrenches which appear periodically on the track. The following upgrades are available: missiles, tires, turbo, speed, and shields.
