Dark Escape 4D is a light gun shooter game designed for two players. To begin, players take hold of the provided light guns and sit in the specially designed cabinet with built-in heart rate monitors. As the game starts, players must aim and shoot at the oncoming monsters and enemies that appear on the screen. The light guns are equipped with recoil action, adding a realistic feel to the shooting experience. Throughout the game, players may encounter quick-time events and interactive moments that require physical responses, such as shaking the cabinet or pressing buttons in a timely manner.
