Space Tactics was Sega’s take on the popular space themed shooter with a twist…the entire screen is motorized and moves to fit within your cross-hairs! It gives the effect of a very large screen with smooth scrolling and makes for one interesting game!
It featured an arcade cockpit cabinet. The arcade cabinet's unique monitor behaved in a somewhat similar manner to gyroscope motion control. The game's sprite scaling and motion cabinet was a precursor to later Sega arcade hits such as Space Harrier and After Burner.
Space Tactics offers a deep and immersive single-player campaign with a captivating and unique gameplay, where players must take down enemy aliens to score points.
