S.T.U.N. stands for 'Spread Tunnel Underground Network'.

Description

S.T.U.N. Runner's elaborate cabinet was designed to resemble the craft that the player pilots in-game. The player straddles a red S.T.U.N. bike with the flight yoke-style controls immediately in front.

Your vehicle automatically accelerates; you turn the yoke left and right to steer. Tilt the yoke forward and back to aim the roof mounted weapon up or down and press the triggers to fire. Press the Start button to release a Shockwave.

How to Play

Twin triggers fire laser cannons mounted atop the craft, and the Start buttons double as the triggers for the Shockwave "smart bomb" weapon.

You are shown the layout of each track at the start of each heat, including locations of Shockwaves and Boost Pads. Shockwaves can also be earned by collecting the number of Stars indicated at the start of each heat. Armoured Drones are indestructible excepting the use of a Shockwave. Some tunnels are under construction and slow you down considerably if you do not take the optimal path. The shoulders on outdoor portions of the track wear down your shields as well as slow you down. The Ultimate Race is to get farther along the last track than any previous S.T.U.N. Runner. The names of the previous players mark the end distance they achieved.
