Pulstar

Time to defend the galaxy!

Pulstar is an arcade shoot 'em up game that takes players on a thrilling space-faring adventure filled with intense action and futuristic visuals. Developed by Aicom and released by SNK, this sci-fi shooter challenges players to pilot their advanced spacecraft and save the galaxy from an impending alien threat.

Description

In Pulstar, players assume the role of a skilled pilot tasked with defending the galaxy against a horde of relentless alien invaders. Equipped with a powerful spacecraft, armed with advanced weaponry, players must navigate through treacherous space environments, battle enemy ships, and confront colossal bosses.

The game features a unique power-up system, where players can collect energy capsules dropped by defeated enemies to upgrade their ship's firepower and defences. These power-ups come in various forms, such as enhanced lasers, missile barrages, and protective shields, allowing players to customise their play style and adapt to different challenges.

How to Play

Players take control of your advanced spacecraft and navigate through a series of challenging space environments. Use the joystick or directional buttons to manoeuvre your ship, avoiding enemy projectiles and obstacles.

Collect energy capsules dropped by defeated enemies to power up your ship. These power-ups enhance your firepower, granting access to devastating special attacks and stronger weapons. Strategically choose when to activate these power-ups for maximum impact.

Keep an eye on your ship's health and shields. Avoid enemy projectiles to minimise damage and collect shield power-ups to protect yourself from harm.
